Research & Development Intern

Gauting • Full-time, internship • 38 hours per week • Depends on contract type (voluntary or mandatory internship) • Start date: Starting in May 2027 (Duration: 6 months)

Your Responsibilities

During your internship, you will support our Research & Development team in the development and characterization of pharmaceutical excipients. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen and expand your knowledge of pharmaceutical technology through hands-on experience. You can also look forward to conducting, preparing, and presenting your own project work.

Assist in conducting application-oriented tests of pharmaceutical excipients—with a focus on oral and inhalation dosage forms
Gain insights into the relationships between excipient properties and pharmaceutical products
Support and assist with development projects, from initial feasibility studies through to the validation of manufacturing processes
Conduct, evaluate, and report on current, subject-specific research questions

Your Profile

Qualification in accordance with the licensing regulations for pharmacists* (second state examination completed by the time of the internship) or a comparable degree in the natural sciences
You possess excellent and confident verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
You are proficient in using MS Office applications
Class B driver’s license
