Your responsibilities with us:

  • Overall responsibility for managing our buttermilk plant with approximately 100 employees
  • Ensuring smooth production operations while complying with quality standards and legal requirements
  • Planning, managing, and monitoring production processes to ensure efficient and cost-optimized production
  • Leading, motivating, and developing employees
  • Monitoring compliance with occupational safety and hygiene measures
  • Implementing and monitoring measures to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Coordinating and collaborating with the Purchasing, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Sales departments
  • Responsibility for budget planning and control
  • Execution and monitoring of capital projects
  • Maintaining and further developing the continuous improvement process (CIP)
  • Reporting to senior management

What you should bring to the table:

  • Several years of professional experience in a management position in the dairy industry, preferably in butter production
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning and control, as well as process optimization
  • Leadership experience and strong teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems
  • Excellent command of German at a native level
  • Valid work permit and residence permit in Germany
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
