Strategic Buyer – Meat/Meat Products (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the strategic and operational procurement of meat and meat products
- Negotiating with suppliers and finalizing purchasing contracts
- Conducting ongoing market analysis to develop a procurement strategy for optimized purchase prices
- Monitoring procurement volumes and inventory levels
- Close collaboration with the production planning, quality management, and sales departments
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization
- Support for audits and trade show visits
Your Qualifications
- In-depth market knowledge in the meat and meat products sector, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant procurement markets, price trends, and supplier structures
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the meat and meat products sector
- Experience in conducting price and contract negotiations
- Openness to change and a willingness to actively help shape new structures and processes
- A team-oriented, independent, and conscientious approach to work
- A hands-on approach
