Our client is a successful medium-sized company in the food industry and part of an internationally active corporate group. At its production site in North Rhine-Westphalia, the company manufactures, processes, and packages powdered food products for both domestic and international markets. With several hundred employees, the company is one of the region’s major employers.
As part of the ongoing development and optimization of the production organization, the position of Operational Plant Manager (m/f/d) is being created.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will plan and manage production processes to ensure efficient production and implement measures to increase productivity in your area (continuous improvement process)
- You will ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards and monitor adherence to them
- You will analyze key performance indicators, systematically refine processes, and implement investment projects
- You will optimize the organizational structure and lead teams collaboratively by example and through coaching
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You hold a degree in food technology, process engineering, or industrial engineering
- You have already gained diverse experience as a plant or operations manager in the food industry and, ideally, have knowledge of processing powdered food products
- You have a strong understanding of high quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- You are a strong communicator and leader with a positive attitude, a strong team-oriented mindset, assertiveness, and a structured and pragmatic approach to work
