Our client is an international food group and one of the largest slaughtering and meat processing companies in Europe, supplying well-known customers in the food industry at home and abroad.

We are looking for you to start as soon as possible in the Essen (Oldenburg) / Lower Saxony area.

Your future area of responsibility:
- Management and monitoring of operational production processes including planning and quality control
- Supporting production management with a focus on the late shift (starting between approx. 1:00 and 4:00 pm depending on the area)
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and legal requirements, especially in the area of food safety
- Ensuring compliance with work, health and safety regulations
- Establishing and developing an effective organizational and representative structure
- Promoting a positive working environment and managing employees in the area of responsibility
- Implementation and further development of lean management methods
- Analysis of processes, identification of bottlenecks and implementation of optimization measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Sharing responsibility for budget issues (personnel, materials, operating costs)
- Close cooperation with related departments to ensure smooth processes
- Communicating and implementing corporate goals, strategies and values
- Participation in and management of projects in your own area of responsibility
What you bring with you:
- Completed training or studies in the field of food production, technology, business administration or comparable
- Several years of experience in production, ideally in the food or meat industry
- Experience in managing employees, preferably in shift operation
- Knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement
- High sense of responsibility and strong organizational and communication skills
- Assertiveness paired with a practical, solution-oriented way of working
- Willingness to work the late shift
