OUR CLIENT
The internationally successful MEGGLE Group recently acquired the Rücker dairy, with locations in Aurich and Wismar. The company produces North German cheese specialties as well as high-quality butter and other dairy products. At the Wismar facility, approximately 165 employees work in the production, aging, and packaging of sliced cheese specialties (including naturally aged varieties), which are sold regionally, nationally, and internationally as both branded and private-label products. The facility operates around the clock, 365 days a year.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will be responsible for ensuring quality-conscious, effective, and cost-efficient cheese production
- You will lead and motivate the team on an ongoing basis and continuously develop the employees’ skills
- You will ensure compliance with and implementation of legal, hygiene, and occupational safety regulations and, in collaboration with the engineering department, ensure optimal equipment availability
- You will support projects within your area of responsibility and continuously improve work processes
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have several years of experience in department management, as a deputy manager, or as a shift supervisor at a cheese factory
- You have extensive experience in the production or development of hard cheese, soft cheese, or shepherd’s cheese
- You are a hands-on person with strong communication skills, a proactive and independent work style, dedication, self-reliance, and a strong commitment to quality and hygiene
- You consistently motivate your team and collaborate effectively across departmental boundaries
