To support our team, we are looking for an
Operations Manager (m/f/d) Food Distribution
Your Responsibilities:
- You will assume technical and disciplinary leadership of our regional branch managers and be responsible for their professional development as leaders
- You will always keep customer needs in mind and maintain ongoing communication with our customers
- At the same time, you’ll also keep the needs of the company and your employees in mind
- Together with the management team, you will develop goals for your division and oversee their operational implementation in collaboration with your facility managers
- You will also have budgetary responsibility
Your Profile:
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in logistics and already have several years of practical experience in managing a team
- You have very strong knowledge of the road freight transport sector, preferably in food distribution, and ideally hold the professional certification for road freight transport (IHK)
- You have a very strong grasp of numbers and are also technically savvy
- You are characterized by a structured and independent work style, as well as very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You bring a high level of dedication, commitment, and assertiveness to the role
- As the primary point of contact for employees and customers, you are a team player and communicate in a respectful manner
