Deputy Head of Engineering (m/f/d)
As a technical professional (m/f/d), you’ll ensure the availability of our equipment using an analytical and structured approach. You’ll impress us with your strong hands-on mentality and ensure that systems are quickly restored to operation in the event of a malfunction. You have a knack for working with both people and machines and want to make a decisive contribution to the company’s economic success.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Your area of responsibility covers all facility operations at our two locations in Geretsried:
- You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to support him across his entire area of responsibility: electrical, mechanical, and technical warehouse operations, as well as technical procurement. In this role, you will independently handle the assigned tasks.
- You will lead the technical team, consisting of the electrical team and the mechanical team.
- You will be responsible for managing and organizing maintenance and repair activities, as well as the ongoing development of technical systems to ensure system availability.
- You will work closely with counterparts from Production, Process Development, and Quality Assurance.
- You will participate in plant projects as part of operational development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Completed training as a master craftsman or technician (m/f/d) or a degree in a technical field
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Relevant practical experience in an industrial setting, ideally in the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong technical expertise in control and automation technology
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- You are a strong communicator and are able to convey complex issues in a structured manner and contribute your ideas
- Solution-oriented and responsible, you motivate your team to achieve the best results
