OUR CLIENT
The Bauer Group is a successful, privately owned, medium-sized group of companies in the food industry. The group manufactures a wide range of fresh and shelf-stable dairy and deli products at several locations in Germany. For the Private Label business unit, we are seeking to fill this key account position, which involves managing business with select clients.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will manage your clients independently and be accountable for results in the German and, where applicable, international markets
- You will manage existing business and continuously expand customer relationships
- You will develop and monitor sales targets, evaluate sales figures, and derive forecast numbers
- You will handle requests for proposals, develop customized product concepts in collaboration with internal departments, and manage projects as part of the product development process
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have several years of experience in customer management and
development in the private-label sector, including conducting negotiations as well as annual or pricing discussions - You have a good understanding of the structures of the food retail and discount sectors in Germany and Europe
- Preferably, you have expertise in managing private label projects with retailers
- You are a self-assured individual with strong communication skills (including in English), a team player, dedicated, results-oriented, able to handle pressure, and willing to travel
