- Both brands and private labels are marketed, generating total sales in the 3-digit million € range
- As a specialist in frozen products, our client enjoys a strong reputation and impresses with its innovative strength, sustainable business practices and consistent customer focus
- Against this backdrop, the management sees diverse potential, both in domestic and international business
- Production is carried out with a focus on quality and sustainability, with OpEx standards and capacities constantly evolving
- As part of a succession plan, we are looking for the new plant manager (m/f/d) for the main plant in Löningen with a direct reporting line to the management board
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Overall responsibility for production/technology/supply chain
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in production, technology and logistics in compliance with all quality, hygiene and food safety standards
- Strategic development of operational structures & store floor processes and routines to ensure maximum efficiency
- Initiation & control of automation programs and responsibility for investment planning & implementation
- Further development of lean management, operational excellence and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
- Close cooperation with Sales, Purchasing, Quality and Finance
- Overall responsibility for approx. 350 employees

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of management experience from managing companies in the food or near-food industry
- Strong process & productivity orientation with state of the art knowledge of operational excellence topics such as CIP, lean, agile store floor methods, modern maintenance approaches etc.
- Forward-looking, solution-oriented & hands-on and motivating at the same time; with experience in the further development of operations teams and high-potential talents
- Secure knowledge of the contents of operational co-determination. Co-determination and experience in working with employee committees
- Technical studies in the food sector (e.g. food technology, process engineering) or comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of English
