Your future responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the operational management of the production site
- Leading and developing a team of at least 120 employees (including managers)
- Ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production processes
- Analysis, development, and management of relevant KPIs to continuously improve production performance in raw sausage production
- Optimizing processes along the entire value chain in raw sausage production
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement (Lean Management, efficiency gains)
- Analyzing technical challenges and developing sustainable solutions
- Investment planning and support for technical projects
- Close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, and Purchasing
- Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, particularly in the areas of food hygiene and occupational safety
What you bring to the table:
- Training as a butcher/master butcher (m/f/d), food technologist (m/f/d), or comparable vocational training and/or continuing education, and/or a completed degree in food technology, production engineering, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of management experience in the meat industry or a comparable food sector
- Extensive practical experience in raw sausage production, including smoking, curing, mold ripening, and storage
- Proven experience managing large organizational units (at least 150 employees)
- In-depth knowledge of industrial production processes
- Experience in defining and managing product-specific KPIs, ideally in raw sausage or cured meat production
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to delve deeply into complex technical issues
- Solution-oriented thinking and proven ability to execute
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and leadership skills
