Head of External Logistics (m/f/d)
Here’s what you’ll be doing
- You will assume technical and managerial leadership of the External Logistics division and ensure a smooth flow of shipments and goods
- Together with external logistics service providers, customers, and suppliers, you will design efficient logistics structures
- Through active interface management, you’ll ensure efficient processes between logistics, production, sales, and IT
- Using relevant logistics metrics, you will identify opportunities for optimization and successfully implement sustainable improvement measures
- You will be responsible for the further development of logistics processes and structures, as well as for leading cross-functional projects
- With your leadership skills, you will foster the development of your team and ensure that agreed-upon company goals are achieved
Here’s what impresses us about you
- You hold a college degree with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics, ideally at a manufacturing company
- You bring in-depth expertise in managing external service providers and overseeing logistics processes
- Your analytical thinking and sense of responsibility help you master even complex challenges
- With strong communication skills and a leadership style that values others, you create a motivating work environment for your team
- Proficiency in MS Office, along with good SAP skills and a strong understanding of digital processes, round out your profile
