Meisterbäckerei Steinecke GmbH & Co KG can look back on over 80 years of history. Today, the traditional medium-sized company employs around 4,000 people in over 500 branches in five German states. It also has three production sites in Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Berlin. The company is a successful and Germany's largest family-run bakery. Purchasing plays a major role in the company's success.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will gradually take over all purchasing areas and be responsible for a volume of around € 60 million with your team
- You will manage the entire procurement process, from strategic supplier selection and contract negotiations to the qualification, auditing and development of suppliers
- You develop and implement a supplier risk and digital strategy for professionalization
- You support the introduction of the merchandise management system and optimize purchasing processes
- You will work closely with the Sales and Production departments to plan requirements
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- You have several years of professional experience as a manager, deputy or senior in strategic purchasing for the manufacturing industry, preferably with knowledge of the food industry
- You have sound know-how along the purchasing process chain, preferably from the purchasing of raw materials
- You are confident with merchandise management systems and have knowledge of their implementation
- You are a communicative (German and English), entrepreneurial personality with cost awareness, hands-on mentality, analytical thinking, team and assertiveness skills
