Packaging Buyer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- You will analyze procurement markets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize cost structures
- You will conduct price, terms, and contract negotiations with suppliers
- You will manage and develop supplier relationships and strategic partnerships
- You will manage requests for proposals, bid comparisons, and supplier evaluations
- You will work closely with production, logistics, and other departments
- You actively drive the optimization and further development of procurement processes
- You plan, schedule, and procure packaging materials as needed and ensure their availability
- You maintain supplier and product master data in the ERP system
- You review and process order confirmations, invoices, delivery notes, and complaints
Your Qualifications:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold a degree in business administration
- You have several years of experience in operational and strategic procurement, ideally in the packaging or consumer goods sector
- You have a good technical understanding; the ability to read technical drawings is a plus
- You are proficient in using ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
- You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- You are confident, a strong negotiator, and have a structured approach to work
- You work independently, are a team player, and are highly assertive
