Packaging Engineer / Packaging Technologist (m/f/d)
To you, packaging is far more than just a wrapper—it combines functionality, efficiency, sustainability, and brand impact. Do you want to not only develop packaging solutions but also test them directly in production, optimize them, and successfully bring them to series production? Then join us in shaping the packaging of tomorrow—from the initial idea to successful implementation at our international plants.
Contribute your personal touch and become part of the Trolli family:
- You’ll develop, optimize, and industrialize innovative packaging solutions for various product categories and ensure their technical feasibility throughout the entire product lifecycle
- You feel right at home in a production environment: You’ll plan, oversee, and analyze packaging, machinery, and production trials; derive optimization measures; and support production ramp-ups and validations directly on-site
- You’ll drive the further development of sustainable packaging concepts. To do this, you’ll evaluate new materials, technologies, and machine concepts, support the implementation of design-for-recycling strategies, and ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners is part of your daily routine. You work across departments with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Marketing, and coordinate with suppliers and machine manufacturers
- You ensure transparency and reliability in project work. You’re just as adept at creating technical specifications, test reports, and project reports as you are at supporting our international production sites with complex packaging issues
We’re looking for you!
- You have experience in packaging development or technology and have already successfully planned and executed packaging and production trials, ideally in the FMCG sector. A relevant degree or vocational training rounds out your profile
- You’re known for your hands-on approach and practical mindset. You enjoy working directly on the production line, identifying opportunities for optimization, and developing pragmatic solutions with strong implementation skills
- Your professional profile includes in-depth knowledge of Design for Recycling (D4R), current packaging regulations—particularly the PPWR—as well as experience collaborating with packaging suppliers and machine manufacturers
- You stand out for your analytical and structured approach to work, your ability to collaborate internationally, and your strong communication skills. Fluency in German and English, as well as a passion for travel, round out your profile
