Buyer (m/f/d) / Category Manager (m/f/d) Fruit & Vegetables
permanent position / full-time / experienced professional
Your tasks
- Target and profit-oriented management and optimization of the fruit & vegetable range
- Customer-oriented assortment selection and seasonal assortment design as well as the calculation of articles
- Establishing contacts on the procurement side and cultivation planning
- Maintaining contact with our producers/suppliers and conducting purchasing negotiations
- Developing and implementing placement concepts
- Quantity planning and control and scheduling
- Developing and implementing customer-oriented marketing measures
- Carrying out market and competition surveys and recognizing trends as the basis for optimal product range design
- Realization of sales and earnings targets for the product range for which you are responsible
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration or nutritional science
- You have professional experience in the fruit & vegetable trade as a Buyer (m/f/d) or Category Manager (m/f/d) or in a comparable position.
- Your strengths include an independent way of working and organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to work in a team, negotiating skills and a confident manner.
- You are confident in using MS365 applications and have very good written and spoken German and English skills
- After a successful induction, you will be willing and flexible to work Saturdays on a regular basis
