Here’s what you can expect
- Purchasing fruits and vegetables for industrial processing
- Supplier selection, evaluation, and development
- Price negotiations and the conclusion of framework agreements
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies for the respective raw material groups
- Working as part of the procurement team in Germany, in coordination with the group procurement team
- Monitoring harvest conditions, market trends, and price developments in national and international procurement markets
- Proactively analyzing market and supplier trends to continuously refine the procurement strategy
- Collaborating on the planning of raw material requirements in coordination with production, quality assurance, and the supply chain
- Supporting efforts to ensure quality, sustainability, and compliance requirements
- Maintaining and evaluating procurement-related data and metrics (e.g., quantities, prices, delivery dates)

Here’s what you bring to the table
- A successfully completed degree in business administration, agricultural sciences, food technology, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement teams and in conducting negotiations
- A strong interest in raw materials, agricultural products, and market and pricing dynamics
- Analytical mindset, aptitude for numbers, and a structured approach to work
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and a passion for collaborating with international partners
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel); SAP knowledge is a plus
