Product Development Specialist (f/m/d)
Confectionery Industry
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Developing new products and recipes and optimizing them
- Testing new raw materials for suitability
- Creating product samples and corresponding product specifications
- Analytical and sensory evaluation of samples
- Handling project tasks, including documentation
- Development and optimization of process specifications
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in the product development of confectionery (chocolate spread, jam, or similar) is preferred
- Experience in the confectionery or jam industry is a plus
- Creativity and strong sensory skills (e.g., product tasting and evaluation)
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP)
- Ability to work independently, in a structured and meticulous manner
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

For this full-time position (38 hours per week), a gross annual salary (including a 13th month’s salary) ranging from approximately €46,000 to €53,000. The specific compensation is based on the collective bargaining structures of the confectionery industry as well as market and company standards.
