What to Expect:
- You will lead and develop a sales team in the skilled trades sector and support your employees through coaching, feedback, and a modern, appreciative leadership style.
- You’ll work closely with your team, foster the development of successful customer relationships, and, through your leadership, lay the groundwork for a high-performing and forward-thinking sales team.
- You will be responsible for revenue, sales volume, and profit targets for the sales regions in northern and central Germany and ensure that these goals are achieved sustainably.
- You will further expand existing customer relationships, acquire new customers, and position RAPS as a strong partner in the skilled trades sector.
- You will actively help shape the future direction of sales to the skilled trades sector and make an important contribution to RAPS’s sustainable growth through innovative sales approaches and the development of new market potential.
- You will analyze market, customer, and competitive trends and use these insights to develop successful sales strategies.
- You will work closely with Marketing, Category Management, and other internal teams to successfully capitalize on growth opportunities.
- You will represent RAPS at trade shows, customer events, and industry gatherings, build valuable contacts, strengthen existing partnerships, and actively contribute to the further development of our network as well as the successful positioning of our brand in the market.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Several years of successful sales experience, ideally in the food industry, as well as leadership experience in a sales-oriented environment
- Industry knowledge in the butchery trade, the food industry, or the food retail sector
- Training as a master butcher (m/f/d), meat technologist (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification is a plus
- Modern leadership skills and experience in motivating, developing, and successfully managing employees
- A strong customer- and sales-oriented mindset combined with entrepreneurial thinking and a strong focus on results
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire people to work toward common goals
- Willingness to travel within the area of responsibility
- Proficiency in using modern sales tools, CRM systems, and digital applications for the efficient management of sales activities
