Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for plant controlling in the Consumer Products division as well as for maintenance operations across the entire plant
- Close collaboration with plant management and department heads* to provide business management support to the operational divisions
- Analyzing monthly results, clarifying variances with the responsible departments, and preparing the results as a basis for decision-making
- Preparing budgets and forecasts, as well as tracking cost trends, particularly in the areas of production and maintenance
- Conducting investment analyses and feasibility studies, e.g., for technical measures, replacement investments, or optimization projects
- Preparing cost estimates and special analyses to support operational and strategic decisions
- Identifying cost trends and opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of corresponding measures
- Further developing existing reports and key performance indicators to improve the management of production and maintenance operations
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in plant or production controlling within a process- or series-oriented industry (e.g., automotive, chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, or a comparable production environment)
- Experience in overseeing production areas and, ideally, in controlling maintenance, technical cost centers, or capital expenditures
- A very good understanding of cost structures and workflows in a production facility, as well as an interest in understanding on-site processes
- Ability to analyze variances, identify root causes in collaboration with functional departments, and present the results clearly and comprehensibly
- Confident demeanor and strong communication skills when interacting with plant management, production, and technical departments
- A structured, independent, and analytical approach to work, combined with perseverance and curiosity in addressing business management issues
- Proficiency in ERP systems (ideally SAP) and very strong Excel skills
- Very good German and good English skills
