- As part of a succession plan, we are now seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Purchasing (m/f/d)
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility for the procurement of highly complex raw materials and packaging materials, as well as leading the procurement team of 10 employees (strategic & operational buyers)
- Ongoing review of the procurement strategy to optimize costs and ensure delivery reliability
- Ensuring effective supplier management, from selection through to the establishment of strategic partnerships
- Managing tenders and related purchasing projects, in close collaboration with Sales, Production, and Quality Management, as well as international purchasing colleagues from the Group
- Further development of purchasing processes and systems, as well as the skills of the purchasing team; promotion of high-performing employees
- Reports directly to the Executive Board; active member of the leadership team

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in leadership roles in food procurement, ideally in highly complex product categories with a high proportion of raw materials
- In-depth knowledge of full operational responsibility for procurement in the areas of raw materials and packaging; ideally also in technical procurement, energy, and service procurement
- A leadership style suited to a medium-sized company, with strong conceptual skills, a pragmatic approach, and a hands-on mentality
- Highly cooperative and solution-oriented when dealing with cross-functional interfaces—avoiding silo mentality and instead taking a holistic, company-wide perspective
- A degree in business administration or comparable qualification, along with a strong commercial background
- Business-fluent English is essential
