Your future responsibilities:
- Supporting production management in the planning, organization, and oversight of ongoing production, as well as acting as a substitute within the agreed-upon area of responsibility
- Ensuring the on-time, on-quantity, and high-quality production of customer-specific food products
- Coordinating and providing technical guidance to production staff, as well as assisting with the organization of staff scheduling
- Monitoring and coordinating production processes, as well as identifying and resolving disruptions, bottlenecks, and organizational deviations at an early stage
- Ensuring compliance with specified quality, hygiene, product safety, and occupational safety standards
- Assisting with production documentation, in-process controls, and traceability in collaboration with the relevant departments
- Participation in the analysis, optimization, and further development of production processes with regard to quality, efficiency, costs, and process reliability
- Close and collaborative partnership with production management, executive management, quality assurance, and related business units
What you bring to the table:
- Completed vocational training or further education in the food industry, e.g., as a Food Technology Specialist (m/f/d), Food Technician (m/f/d), Master Craftsman (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification; Alternatively, a technical or production-related qualification with relevant professional experience
- Professional experience in production at a manufacturing company, ideally in the food industry
- Experience in organizing and managing production processes
- Initial leadership experience, e.g., as a shift supervisor, team leader, foreman, or in a comparable role, is a plus
- Experience with mixing, dosing, or comparable production processes is desirable
- Knowledge of quality, hygiene, and product safety requirements in food production
- A solid understanding of processes and production, as well as technical knowledge of production equipment
- Proficiency with MS Office and modern digital systems
- A structured, independent, and reliable work style, as well as strong organizational skills
- A strong sense of responsibility, quality, and cost awareness, as well as analytical and process-oriented thinking
- Assertiveness combined with a respectful approach toward employees and colleagues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, initiative, and a hands-on approach
- Very good German language skills
