With a passion for cheese, the milk from our partner farms, and a foundation of time-honored knowledge, Landkäserei Holtsee—located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein—produces unique cheeses with a team of approximately 125 employees. We deliberately focus on authentic craftsmanship to preserve the uniqueness of our cheeses. We process 120 million kg of milk into cheese each year. We source our milk from regional dairy farmers.
Our team is currently looking to expand with a
Machine Operator (m/f/d) in the Production Area (Food Technology Specialist / Dairy Technologist m/f/d)
in a fully continuous 3-shift system.
Your responsibilities:
- Controlling and monitoring production equipment and processes, such as milk and cream heaters, evaporation and filtration systems, and centrifuges
- Independently identifying, analyzing, and reporting malfunctions, as well as actively participating in troubleshooting and supporting the Engineering Department with maintenance, servicing, and repair work
- Ensuring a continuous exchange of information in the event of deviations, unusual occurrences, or process disruptions
- Monitoring and documenting the defined CCPs (Critical Control Points) in accordance with the HACCP concept
- Conducting sampling in accordance with work instructions (e.g., tank inventories, microbiological samples)
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as a dairy technologist, food technology specialist, or equivalent
- Professional experience in a food processing facility or in fully continuous production is desirable
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- Good, fluent German language skills (at least B1 level) required
- Good technical understanding
- Ability to work in a team and mobility

- Base pay in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement of at least €21.38 gross per hour, plus allowances for shift work, night work, weekend work, and work on holidays
