For our location in Nortmoor, we are seeking a:
Team Leader (m/f/d) for Quality Management/Quality Assurance
Work with us to further develop our quality standards and actively contribute to ensuring our requirements for product safety, quality, and consumer information are met.
Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Provide technical leadership for the Quality Management/Quality Assurance team, taking into account the requirements of retail and production
- Further development, maintenance, and monitoring of the quality and internal control system, taking into account legal and internal requirements
- Planning, conducting, and following up on organic audits
- Reviewing the labeling of private-label products
- Serving as the point of contact for food safety authorities, certification bodies, and other external regulatory agencies, as well as handling inquiries from authorities
- Coordinating and providing technical support for product recalls, including communication with authorities, suppliers, and internal departments
- Advising and supporting internal departments on quality and food law issues
What you bring to the table:
- A bachelor’s degree in food technology, nutrition science, agricultural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management or quality assurance in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of food law as well as HACCP, self-monitoring systems, and auditing
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- A conceptual, analytical, and strategic approach to work
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
