Head of Dry Goods Purchasing (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS
- Negotiation: Independent condition and price negotiations with supply partners
- Assortment: Determining the assortment in the responsible product groups and ensuring high quality requirements
- Availability of goods: Ensuring the timely availability of goods for our customers
- Employee management: Managing and developing the subordinate team of employees
- Marketing: Developing marketing strategies and action planning on your own responsibility
- Process optimization: Providing ideas for the system-side optimization of purchasing processes
- New development: Constant search for product innovations as well as market and competition monitoring
- Cooperation: Close coordination with the adjacent specialist departments
YOUR PROFILE
- Education: A degree in business administration and/or commercial training, e.g. in wholesale and foreign trade or as a business economist (m/f/d)
- Experience: Several years of professional experience and knowledge of goods in the food trade and food sector
- Expertise: Sound purchasing experience of retail products
- IT competence: Confident handling of MS Office products and ERP systems
- Soft skills: Strong communication skills, high level of teamwork, negotiating skills, goal orientation
- Flexibility: Willingness to undertake occasional business trips in Germany and abroad
- Personality: Confident and engaging demeanor, personal responsibility, willingness to perform, independent work & assertiveness
- Language: Very good knowledge of German
