Rausch Schokoladen is a traditional family business in the production and marketing of high-quality chocolate products, which is now managed by the 5th generation. The company has consistently specialized in chocolates made from fine cocoa. A wide range of chocolate products is produced continuously and in a highly automated process at the Peine site. The key position of deputy in Purchasing is now to be filled, among other things to build up a resilient purchasing controlling system.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will support the purchasing management in strategic and operational purchasing as well as in the procurement management of central product groups (e.g. raw materials, packaging, merchandise and capital goods)
- You will conduct price, quantity and condition negotiations and conclude supplier agreements
- You will set up a modern purchasing controlling system, including a KPI system, forecasts and scenario analyses
- You will analyze procurement markets and develop product group and supplier strategies
- You will provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the purchasing team and gradually develop it further
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- You have several years of experience in an industrial environment as a senior manager in strategic purchasing as well as industry knowledge from the food or FMCG segments (e.g. in raw materials purchasing)
- You have already gained expertise in setting up controlling and KPI systems in purchasing
- You are an open and communicative personality with a confident manner, a proactive and structured approach, an entrepreneurial mindset and the leadership skills to motivate and develop teams
