These are your tasks:
- You will develop healthy, tasty and sustainable pet food recipes for mera for an animal-friendly future for happy dogs and cats
- You will continuously maintain and optimize our existing pet food recipes
- You identify and evaluate new product ideas, raw materials and market trends and use them to develop new products
- You work closely and in an interdisciplinary manner with colleagues from purchasing, production, quality assurance, marketing and sales to ensure successful joint product development
- You are the company’s technical and scientific contact for internal departments and external partners on all nutritional and product-specific issues
- You ensure that all products comply with feed and veterinary legislation and support the corresponding approval, declaration and documentation processes

Ideally, you should bring this with you:
- Product development is your passion
- Degree in agricultural science, agricultural or nutritional economics, food technology, food chemistry, veterinary science desirable or comparable training with relevant professional experience
- Experience in the pet food industry is helpful. Career changers from the livestock feed industry or career starters with relevant previous experience are welcome
- Sound knowledge of animal nutrition and/or feed science is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of raw materials, recipe design and feed legislation
- Good communication skills in written and spoken German and English
