Do you know your way around the food retail trade (LEH), food service (specialist trade) and/or the consumer goods industry and are looking for a new challenge in sales? We have been growing continuously for years and are looking for you to help us continue our dynamic growth in the world of spices. For end consumers in the food retail trade (LEH) & sales as well as users in the catering trade (food service).
Your tasks:
- Supporting regional food retailers and their multi-business entrepreneurs as well as regional food service retailers and, if applicable, users
- Preparation and support of annual meetings / contract extensions
- Identifying new sales potential and supporting sales and earnings targets
- Expanding existing listings and expanding the brand and distribution presence with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth & introducing new products / innovations
- Acquisition, customer care, development and implementation of measures to retain customers and increase sales;
all in close coordination with your team lead and the management - Willingness to travel for customer appointments, participation in trade fairs / training courses
Your qualifications:
- Completed commercial training, e.g. in wholesale and foreign trade, retail or bulk consumer service
- Degree is an advantage, but not a must
- At least 2 years of professional experience as an area sales manager or in the key account area, with a focus on food retail and/or food service
- Solution-oriented, passionate and with a hands-on mentality
- Communicative, organized, service-oriented - you enjoy selling, teamwork and customer contact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independent and structured way of working
- Proficient in all common MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PPT)
