Key Account Manager for EDEKA & E-Commerce Beverages (m/f/d)

Our client is a successful and long-established company in the German beverage industry with multiple production sites and a broad brand portfolio. In addition to established brands, the company is making targeted investments in innovation, new consumption occasions, and the expansion of non-alcoholic and functional beverage categories. As part of its continued growth, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead the strategic development of one of our most important national clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent management and strategic development of the EDEKA Group at the central and regional levels
  • Conducting annual reviews as well as negotiations on pricing, terms, product assortment, and promotions
  • Development and implementation of customer-specific growth, distribution, and placement strategies
  • Responsibility for revenue, sales volume, and profit targets in the assigned customer segment
  • Management of listings, promotions, secondary placements, and marketing initiatives
  • Analysis of market, sales, and sales data, and derivation of concrete recommendations for action
  • Identifying and developing additional growth potential in the areas of e-commerce, convenience, and other relevant sales channels
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with relevant decision-makers in the retail sector

Profile:

  • Several years of experience as a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in the branded beverage industry or a comparable FMCG category
  • Proven experience in conducting annual reviews and in challenging price and terms negotiations
  • Good knowledge of the structures and decision-making processes of the EDEKA Group
  • Strong analytical skills and a strong focus on numbers and results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, a high degree of personal responsibility, and a structured approach to work
  • Confident demeanor, strong negotiation skills, and ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
