Head of Quality Management (m/f/d) for the Food Industry
(Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Leader, Quality Manager, Head of Quality, or similar)
As the Head of Quality Management (m/f/d) in the food sector, you will develop the foundations of quality management for a new production site and lead a 4-person QM/QS team.

Your Responsibilities
- Developing the fundamentals of quality management for a new production site
- Providing technical and managerial leadership and developing the QM/QS team of 4 employees
- Ensuring product, operational, and personnel hygiene—with a strong emphasis on practical application
- Responsibility for certifying the site with an HACCP plan and food safety documentation, as well as leading the HACCP team
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers on all quality-related matters
- Compliance with and enforcement of applicable food safety and other legal regulations
- Supporting and conducting external and internal audits, such as IFS, organic, or customer audits
Your Profile
- A degree in a food-related field, e.g., food technology, food chemistry, or nutrition, or vocational training in the food industry with relevant continuing education
- Several years of professional experience in quality management within the food industry
In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards (IFS, HACCP, ISO, organic, etc.) - Strong understanding of production processes in the context of certifications and audits within the food industry
- Assertive, communicative personality with a strong hands-on approach
