- To increase the innovation rate, we are looking for the Deputy Head of Product Development (m/f/d) as part of a succession plan
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Managing the strategic and operational development of the product range in close coordination with the Head of Product Development
- Systematic new product development and recipe optimizations - from the idea, technological feasibility and profitability test to market maturity and industrial production
- Monitoring relevant markets and market & consumer trends
- Close cooperation with the Production and Engineering departments, e.g. for line tests or the further development of packaging solutions
- Initiating process improvements to optimize recipes and processes in product development, among other things
- Close, proactive collaboration with marketing, product management and sales managers for various channels
- Regular participation in customer meetings and national/international trade fairs Trade fairs

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in the food industry and in product development
- Initial experience in the technical management or guidance of employees and the development of colleagues
- Receptive skills, analytical thinking, creative solutions and a high level of quality and cost awareness
- Strong decision-making skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Completed training as a chef, food technician (m/f/d) or in a comparable field - and/or studies in food technology or a related field
- Good knowledge of English
