Your tasks
- Development and implementation of purchasing strategies: Development, maintenance and continuous optimization of a strategic supplier portfolio to ensure stable and long-term partnerships
- Negotiation management: Independent negotiation of framework agreements, conditions and supply agreements for MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG and, if required, for our subsidiaries
- Market analyses and benchmarking: Ongoing analysis of procurement markets to identify innovative procurement solutions and optimization opportunities
- Supplier management: selection, qualification and regular evaluation of suppliers, including the development of risk management strategies
- Cost optimization: Identification of potential savings and initiation of measures to increase cost efficiency and long-term value creation
- Digitalization in purchasing: implementation of modern technologies to make purchasing processes more efficient and drive forward automation
- Project work: close cooperation with internal departments (e.g. engineering, production, maintenance, IT) on tenders, the identification and implementation of synergy effects and optimization potential. In addition, active participation in internal projects within the purchasing department, such as the further development of processes, tools and strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Your profile

- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a technical focus or comparable commercial training, supplemented by relevant professional experience in purchasing and procurement with a technical focus
- Proven expertise in strategic purchasing, including the development and implementation of purchasing strategies and optimization of the supplier base
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to act confidently even in complex negotiation situations
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate cost structures, market conditions and supplier potential
- High level of professional motivation and enthusiasm, combined with a clear desire to shape the company and the ability to develop creative approaches to optimize processes
- Strong interpersonal skills, complemented by the ability to work constructively with different stakeholders and find joint solutions
- Confident in using modern purchasing tools and methods, ideally with experience in SAP
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
