For our Mockrehna location, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) specializing in Electrical Engineering at JBT Marel to join our engineering team.
Your Responsibilities – Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Maintenance, Servicing, and Repair: Performing maintenance, servicing, and repair work on our production, packaging, and conveyor systems, particularly on machinery and equipment from JBT, Marel, Meyn, and Foodmate.
- Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving electrical and technical malfunctions in production equipment using circuit diagrams, diagnostic systems, and analysis software. You’ll ensure rapid fault resolution and high equipment availability.
- Electrical Maintenance: Testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components, control systems, sensors, drives, and other electrical equipment within our production facilities.
- Optimization of Production Facilities: Continuous improvement and technical optimization of our machines, manufacturing equipment, and conveyor systems in close collaboration with Production and Engineering.
- Assembly and Replacement of Components: Professional replacement of defective electrical and mechanical components, as well as the assembly and commissioning of new components.
- Conversion and system modification: Carrying out technical conversions, expansions, and adaptations to existing production facilities, as well as providing support for modernization and optimization projects.
- Ensuring System Availability: Support for preventive maintenance and measures to reduce machine downtime and production losses.
Your Profile – What You Bring to the Table:
- A completed technical apprenticeship, ideally as an electronics technician, electrician, mechatronics technician, or in the field of industrial and plant engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, as well as, ideally, experience with factory automation, drive technology, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Practical experience in the maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of production and industrial equipment.
- Professional experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the food industry, is a plus.
- Experience with equipment and machinery from manufacturers such as JBT Marel, Meyn, or Foodmate is required.
- Technical understanding, manual dexterity, and an independent, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Reliability, the ability to work well in a team, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call duty.
