- As a specialist in the technologically sophisticated processing of raw materials for several segments of the food industry, the company enjoys a high reputation for quality and application consulting
- In recent years, the company has continuously invested in operational excellence and increased productivity and sees further potential here to secure profitable growth opportunities in a competitive environment
- As part of a succession plan, we are looking for the Director Operations (m/f/d) with responsibility for the areas of production, technology and supply chain in a direct reporting line to the CEO
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Operational & strategic management and alignment of the company in the operations areas
- Direct management of the heads of production, production planning, technology & logistics and overall responsibility for approx. 350 employees
- Development, management and implementation of measures and projects to increase productivity and cost efficiency, including through the use of cross-divisional synergies and further automation
- Targeted development of team competencies & management levels as well as promoting the CIP mindset and driving operational excellence
- Ensuring smooth production processes and a high level of customer service & quality based on the defined targets

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of management experience in operations in the food industry with skills in production and technology
- Forward-thinking agile management type with a proven track record of increasing productivity and reducing costs
- Strong process & efficiency orientation in connection with CIP, TPM and lean management programs
- Knowledge of environmental and occupational safety law
- Strong leadership personality with high social competence in change processes and development of teams & talents
Doer mentality, conceptual, strong in solutions & implementation and with the ability to take employees along and motivate them - Successful technical studies or comparable qualification
