Director of Operations (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded leader to serve as Director of Operations (m/f/d) for our corporate group. In this newly created key position, you will assume overall operational responsibility for our production divisions—hard candies, chewy candies, fruit gummies, and toffees—across three plants in Boizenburg/Elbe.
Your Responsibilities
- Overall operational responsibility for our production divisions
- Leading and developing plant and operations management teams
- Responsibility for quality management and quality assurance
- Continuous improvement of productivity, efficiency, quality, costs, and on-time delivery
- Development of meaningful production and quality metrics
- Management of optimization, automation, and capital investment projects
- Direct collaboration with the executive board and other members of senior management
Your Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in the food or confectionery industry
- Ideally, experience overseeing multiple plants or large production areas
- In-depth understanding of industrial production processes, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Strong leadership and change management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision-making skills, and a hands-on approach
- High visibility on the production floor and the ability to rally people toward shared goals
