OUR CLIENT
Our client is the German subsidiary of an international corporation that successfully distributes food ingredients to the food processing industry in Germany and Europe. The company’s international customers in various sectors of the food industry (e.g., baked goods) value its professionalism, innovative spirit, and customer focus. This position is being created as part of a restructuring.
YOUR NEW CHALLENGE
- You will ensure efficient and on-time production and continuously improve these processes
- You will drive lean management, process optimization, and the continuous improvement program across all departments
- You will plan and manage capital expenditure and maintenance projects, ranging from equipment upgrades to logistics
- You will identify opportunities for automation and digitalization and oversee their implementation
- You will lead managers and employees at the site in a decisive, clear, and respectful manner
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have several years of leadership experience as a plant or operations manager in food production, preferably in the processing of dry goods, and have executive management experience
- You have a proven track record in process optimization, automation, and investment management
- You communicate clearly across all levels, convince employees of the need for change, combine a hands-on approach with foresight, and confidently prioritize between quality, costs, and deadlines
