  • Lantmännen Unibake (LU) is a leading international bakery group with production facilities in more than 20 countries and a billion € turnover level
  • The group supplies a wide variety of bakery products for food service and retail customers and is known for its high-quality focus
  • For DACH the LU organization is based in Bremen, operating a production site in Schleswig-Holstein with a portfolio currently focusing on classical food service and QSR channels, generating sales in the upper 2-digit million € range
  • The management still sees significant potential in the DACH markets, not only in strengthening listings and distribution but also in expanding the portfolio to address new customers, potentially also in Retail and new industry segments
  • As part of a succession plan, we are now looking for a Sales Director DACH (m/f/d) for the food service sector, who can drive operational sales in DACH and at the same develop LU’s sales strategy to build new business

YOUR KEY TASKS

  • Responsible for the national food service Sales Team of LU
  • Strategic and operational leadership of the Key Account & Field Management and of total business
  • Expansion of existing market segments in the direction of value-added concepts, defining new growth potential
  • Assortment consulting for strategic customer opportunities from a category management perspective as well as driving the value creation of concepts
  • Leading and developing a sales team with approx. 10 employees
  • Close cooperation with the global sales team on an international level, direct reporting line to the Managing Director DACH

YOUR PROFILE

  • In-depth knowledge of the national food service business
  • Several years of expertise in sales management functions in the food service/B2B business with excellent direct and end customer know-how
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking, providing a good mix of strategic and operational skills, being able to handle strategic customers on its own
  • A real “doer” type, displaying a can-do and solution-oriented mentality
  • Accomplished leader, taking organizations and structures to a higher level
  • Experience with international corporate structures
  • Successful studies in economics or comparable training (sales, category management, etc.), very good English
