
We are offering a
PART-TIME JOB AT THE VETERINARY OFFICE (M/F/D)
as an official technical assistant (m/f/d) in meat inspection at slaughterhouses.
Career changers ( m/f/d) are expressly welcome! We offer you the opportunity to train to become an official technical assistant. The training covers all the necessary fundamentals of meat inspection during slaughter, which are required to assess animals for diseases, take samples, and monitor hygiene standards at the facilities. The full-time training program lasts approximately 6 months and is compensated with an attractive hourly wage. The training period may be shortened for candidates with relevant professional experience.
LET’S TACKLE THIS TOGETHER:
- Conducting meat inspections at slaughterhouses and , in particular, during on-farm slaughter in the Schweinfurt district
- Conducting additional tests for specific hazards such as trichinosis or BSE
- Initiating laboratory tests as necessary
- Regular sampling at slaughterhouses

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
In any case...
- Completed training as an official technical assistant (m/f/d); alternatively , a middle school diploma and a willingness to complete training as an official technical assistant (m/f/d)
- a Class B driver’s license and your own vehicle
- Physical stamina and good health
And ideally:
- Prior experience in butchery, the food industry, or the agricultural sector is desirable
- Willingness to travel as part of the training
- Willingness to work early mornings and on weekends
