We are seeking a candidate for our Kulmbach location to start as soon as possible:
CULINARY PRODUCT DEVELOPER (M/F/D)
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Development of innovative spice, functional, and additive blends, with a focus on the convenience and dairy sectors
- Independent management of national and international development projects—from concept to market readiness
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating laboratory, pilot plant, and production trials
- Transferring development approaches from the laboratory and pilot plant to industrial-scale production
- Technological optimization of existing formulations and applications
- Preparation and conduct of product presentations, customer training sessions, and application tests—both in-house and directly at the customer’s site
- Planning, conducting, and following up on sensory evaluation training sessions
- Evaluation and implementation of new strategic raw materials and technological solutions
- Close collaboration with sales, product management, and international customers
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology, ideally with a focus on dairy technology
- Training in the food trade or food industry is a plus
- Several years of experience in product development or application technology, ideally in the dairy products sector
- In-depth technical understanding of food raw materials, ingredients, and additives, as well as their functionality, processing, and application technologies
- Solid knowledge of the systematic evaluation and characterization of foods using sensory and functional methods
- Enjoyment of customer-oriented development work
- Good command of German and English
- Proficiency with MS Office and, ideally, SAP
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a structured approach to work
