Raw Material Manager Dairy Liquid (m/f/d)

Your tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for the marketing-oriented management and sale of raw milk volumes within and outside the Schwarzwaldmilch Group.

• Selling and brokering raw milk volumes to external dairies, processors and industry partners
• Active management of surpluses and shortfalls in close coordination with production, planning and production management
• Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships in the raw milk market
• Market observation and analysis of the regional, national and international raw milk market
• Responsibility for conducting and successfully concluding price, contract and volume negotiations
• Development of marketing strategies for raw milk, taking market, quality and logistics into account
• Close cooperation with:
  • Raw milk procurement / producer support
  • Production planning and scheduling
  • Controlling and quality management
• Ensuring the economically optimal use of raw milk
• Documentation, reporting and quantity monitoring
• Expanding your network within the industry and attending relevant events and networking events

Your profile

• A degree in agriculture, food or business administration or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the raw milk or agricultural commodities sector as well as a good feel for markets, prices and volumes
• You are a confident negotiator, think analytically and are comfortable working with figures, contracts and forecasts
• Personal responsibility, reliability and entrepreneurial thinking are a matter of course for you
• You work in a structured, agile and customer-oriented manner – with a high level of self-motivation and clear confidence in closing deals
• Even in challenging situations, you courageously break new ground and find pragmatic, creative solutions
• Business fluent in German, knowledge of English is a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS Office/M365 and SAP, willingness to travel and a class B driver’s license round off your profile
