Supply Chain Expert – Fruits & Vegetables (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Be an integral part of our European Fresh Produce (fruits and vegetables) Import Hub project
- You’ll shape the future supply chain for fruit and vegetables across all ALDI SÜD countries in Europe
- Develop and harmonize processes for an efficient fruit and vegetable supply chain
- Analyze current processes and data to define optimal supply chain strategies
- Establish best-practice operational standards to streamline sourcing and logistics
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes for fresh fruit and vegetables
- Collaborate closely with an international team, suppliers, logistics providers, and country organizations
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- A completed university degree, ideally in supply chain management, agricultural sciences or food technology
- Hands-on experience in supply chain or purchasing processes for imported fruit and vegetables
- Expertise in handling and processing fresh fruit and vegetables, such as ripening preferably within the retail sector
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex data
- A proactive, can-do attitude, thriving in dynamic and evolving environments
- A structured, reliable, and results-driven approach to work
- Fluency in business English; additional European languages are a plus

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
