The plant in Linz was taken over by Marcher Fleischwerke in 2017 and mainly produces sausages, ham and grill products under the LANDHOF brand. Linz is also home to Group-wide product development. Around 200 employees work in Linz.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a leader who combines technical know-how with organizational skills and commercial understanding.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for a team of around 20 employees. You will ensure the efficient, smooth operation of our systems and develop the department step by step. Your goal: clear structures, efficient work and a strong, motivated team.

This is what your typical working day looks like
- Overall management of the plant technology department with approx. 20 employees
- Structural development and optimization of the department towards greater efficiency and sustainable performance
- Ensuring the operational readiness and cost-effectiveness of all technical systems
- Cost awareness and responsibility for budget and resources
- Coordination and management of external companies and suppliers
- Enforcement and monitoring of occupational safety and quality standards
What distinguishes you professionally and personally
- Completed technical training with good commercial understanding
- Several years of management experience in a comparable environment, ideally in the food industry
- Proven experience in managing and developing technical departments
- Assertive personality with decisiveness and clear communication
- Ability to motivate employees, demand responsibility and consistently implement standards
- Ability to work under pressure, organizational strength and solution-oriented pragmatism
Salary/wages
A salary in line with the market as well as numerous benefits and additional services are a matter of course for us. The classification for this position is based on the collective agreement for retail employees in salary group E. A corresponding overpayment to the minimum classification in the collective agreement depending on your professional and personal skills will be agreed individually.
