Senior Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Aiya, a family-owned company, is Japan’s largest producer of premium matcha green tea (the “champagne” of the tea world). With over 135 years of experience in producing exquisite teas, our products set the benchmark for tea products in the food industry year after year. For 20 years, AIYA Europe has been importing the highest-quality matcha teas for the European market. Our product portfolio covers the entire spectrum, from bulk products for industrial customers to retail products for end consumers.

As a next step, we are building a team for the foodservice sector. For our office in the tea and port city of Hamburg , we are looking for a motivated and independent individual to fill the position of:

• Managing and developing key accounts in the foodservice, hospitality, and restaurant industries: Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Strategic client consulting: Analyzing client needs and developing tailored solutions and offers.
• Contract negotiations: Conducting price and contract negotiations with clients while taking company goals into account.
• Market and Competitive Analysis: Identifying market trends and competitor activities to recognize opportunities and risks early on.
• Coordination with internal departments: Close collaboration with marketing, product development, customer service, and logistics to ensure optimal customer support.
• Sales Responsibility: Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and revenue growth.
• Reporting: Preparing reports and forecasts for senior management to analyze customer trends.
• Participation in trade shows and customer events: Representing the company and maintaining the network.

• You are a communicative sales professional.
• You have several years of sales experience in the foodservice industry, ideally in the hotel industry, restaurants, or the out-of-home market.
• You work independently, have a confident demeanor, are articulate, and are eager to learn.
• You enjoy celebrating personal successes, and challenges motivate you.
• You speak German and English very well. Knowing another language is, of course, a plus but not a requirement.
