As Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) for the meat product group, you and your team will make a significant contribution to shaping the product range. Through your supplier negotiations, you will ensure that our customers from the food service industry can cover their needs with us at optimal conditions.

• Purchasing management: You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of purchasing in your product group.
• Team management and development: You manage and support your team in their personal and professional development.
• Supplier negotiations: You conduct negotiations with our suppliers, optimizing conditions and purchase prices.
• Supplier portfolio management: You optimize our supplier portfolio by evaluating existing contracts, developing new supplier sources and organizing tenders.
• Product range management: You will continuously develop the product range based on regular analyses and taking our corporate strategy into account.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: To ensure customer satisfaction, you will maintain a regular exchange with internal teams from Quality Assurance, Sales, our stores and depots and Supply Chain Management

• Experience and knowledge: You have purchasing/category management experience in a comparable position or have comparable experience from a supplier perspective. The basis of your experience is a completed apprenticeship or a degree.
• Product knowledge: You will have experience in the fresh meat sector, ideally with relevant training.
• Management experience: You have management experience as well as a cooperative and motivating management style.
• Skills: Your profile is rounded off by your negotiating skills, your results orientation, good German and English language skills and your confident use of MS Office.
