Your tasks
- Planning, control and implementation of process engineering projects in the field of protein and membrane processes - from the installation phase to stable production
- Conception, implementation and evaluation of test series in the pilot plant and in production
- Analysis of the effects of process parameters on protein behavior, product quality and yield (e.g. denaturation, retentate composition, lactose yield in the permeate)
- Development and further development of analytical methods for assessing raw material and process quality and sound interpretation of the results
- Optimization and continuous further development of membrane processes to increase efficiency, stability and cost-effectiveness
- Derivation and implementation of suitable measures in the event of process deviations in close cooperation with production, quality and related departments
Your profile
- Completed studies in food process engineering, process engineering, food technology or a comparable field of study
- Sound knowledge of protein processes and experience with membrane processes (e.g. UF/NF/RO)
- Practical experience in conducting and evaluating experiments in a pilot plant or production environment
- Understanding of the interaction of process parameters, raw material quality and product functionality
- Analytical and structured way of working with a high level of implementation competence
- Ability to translate scientific findings into economically viable production solutions
- Team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
