We are a medium-sized company with locations in Holdorf and Mühlen that has been successfully producing animal feed for the livestock and pet industries for more than 40 years.
In this position, you will actively participate in production while also taking responsibility for the employees on your shift. You will ensure that operations run smoothly and that quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained at all times.
Active participation in the ongoing production process (e.g., operating equipment, monitoring, filling)
Providing technical guidance and coordinating production staff within your shift
Planning and ensuring a smooth shift operation
Training new employees and assisting with their onboarding
Monitoring compliance with quality, hygiene, and occupational safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
Early detection and reporting of malfunctions, as well as initiating initial corrective actions
Ensuring order and cleanliness in the work area
Communicating with adjacent departments (e.g., production planning, engineering, warehouse)
Documenting production data and shift incidents
Completed technical or vocational training (e.g., manufacturing, industry, skilled trades)
Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, ideally in the animal feed or food industry
Initial experience in supervising employees is a plus (e.g., as a foreman or assistant manager)
Technical understanding and confidence in operating production equipment
Knowledge of quality, hygiene, and occupational safety
A structured, reliable, and independent work style
Assertiveness, the ability to work well in a team, and a strong sense of responsibility
