We employ approx. 1,800 people and are looking for a Production Manager (m/f/d) Food Industry for the production in our plant in Wevelinghoven.

In this position, you will take responsibility for one of our central production units. With your technical know-how, a clear view of processes and a confident leadership style, you will design efficient processes and develop your team.
These tasks await you with us:
- Overall responsibility for a production unit under business management objectives with a focus on maximum quality, efficiency and productivity
- Management of investment projects to expand capacity and continuous optimization of production processes
- Ensuring technical plant availability in the area of responsibility and implementing measures to increase efficiency
- Planning and coordinating volume output in close coordination with central production planning
- Targeted management, support and further development of employees within the production unit
- Responsibility for compliance with quality standards, occupational safety and industrial hygiene as well as reporting to plant management and team
- Further development of the team structure, budget responsibility and active promotion of a continuous improvement process in cooperation with adjacent production units and central departments
Do you love salty snacks?
- Perfect! Then you already fulfill an important criterion. You should also have:
- A degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering or technical training with further training, e.g. technician (m/f/d) or industrial foreman (m/f/d)
- Several years of experience in production management or a comparable management function
- Ideally experience in food production
- Strong leadership skills, confident store floor management and a keen sense of employee motivation
- Entrepreneurial thinking, confident handling of key figures and knowledge of production planning and control
- Experience with improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
- Very good knowledge of IT applications, ideally also in SA
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills and a large portion of team spirit
