Your tasks
- Technical management and further development of the WPC systems including membrane and evaporation technology as well as associated peripheral systems (e.g. process water, chlorine dioxide)
- Ensuring stable, efficient and economical production processes, taking into account quality, hygiene, energy use and occupational safety
- Creating work instructions and documentation for operating the WPC system
- Training, induction and further development of employees at the plant
- Optimization of operation, cleaning regimes and downtimes to increase system availability, performance and energy efficiency
- Selecting, evaluating and analyzing the performance of membranes and co-deciding on runtimes and deployment strategies
- Planning and control of membrane changes and continuous process monitoring
- Implementation and co-supervision of production-scale trials including analysis and evaluation of results
- Technical link between production, engineering and process technology
- Support during commissioning, audits and plant inspections
- Initiating and supporting technical improvement measures from a business perspective
- Ensuring the traceability of products and system documentation (including SAP)
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of food technology, process engineering or training as a dairy technologist* with further training as a master craftsman*, technician* or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in food production with sound knowledge of membrane and evaporation technology
- In-depth understanding of production processes
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge of computer-aided production and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Business acumen combined with a high level of quality, hygiene and safety awareness
- Structured, independent and assertive way of working
- Initial management experience or strong ability to provide technical guidance to employees
- Team orientation and clear communication skills
