Your tasks
- Responsibility for plant controlling in the Consumer Products division and for the maintenance division of the entire plant
- Close cooperation with plant management and department heads* to provide business management support for the operational areas
- Analysis of monthly results, clarification of deviations with the responsible areas and preparation of the results as a basis for decision-making
- Preparing budgets and forecasts and tracking cost trends, particularly in the areas of production and maintenance
- Carrying out investment calculations and profitability analyses, e.g. for technical measures, replacement investments or optimization projects
- Preparation of calculations and special evaluations to support operational and strategic decisions
- Identifying cost trends and potential for improvement and supporting the implementation of corresponding measures
- Further development of existing reports and key figures to improve the management of production and maintenance areas
Your profile
- Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in plant or production controlling within a process or series-oriented industry (e.g. automotive, chemical, food, pharmaceutical or comparable production environment)
- Experience in managing production areas and ideally in controlling maintenance, technical cost centers or investments
- Very good understanding of cost structures and processes in a production plant as well as interest in understanding processes on site
- Ability to analyze deviations, work out causes together with the specialist departments and present the results clearly and comprehensibly
- Confident manner and strong communication skills in exchanges with plant management, production and technical departments
- Structured, independent and analytical way of working combined with perseverance and curiosity in clarifying business issues
- Confident handling of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and very good knowledge of Excel
- Very good German and good English skills
