Managing Director (f/m/d) of the Austrian Dairy Association
The Austrian Dairy Association represents the interests of a strong, diverse, and forward-looking dairy industry. We engage in dialogue with the business community, trade partners, policymakers, the media, NGOs, and society—transparently, solution-oriented, and with a clear stance.
To further develop our association, we are seeking a communicative, well-connected, and confident individual to serve as Managing Director.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational leadership of the association
- Representation of industry interests in various committees
- Representing the industry to the public, media, policymakers, and NGOs
- Active networking and expansion of relevant national and international contacts
- Management of internal and external communications (member companies and stakeholders)
- Positioning the association in social and professional debates
Your Profile
- Strong communication skills and a confident, authentic demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and diplomatic skills
- Experience in dealing with the media, press relations, and public communication
- Confident in negotiations and articulate—even in challenging situations
- Ideally, experience engaging with NGOs, associations, or political institutions
- Strong networking skills and strategic thinking
- Leadership experience or proven track record managing complex organizations
- High level of initiative, assertiveness, and the drive to get things done
- A college degree or several years of relevant professional experience
